West Gate Bridge Re-Strengthening
APC is currently working on the Re-strengthening of the West Gate Bridge. The West Gate Bridge upgrade was a continuous job that included runways, suicide posts, concrete posts and a range of plates. All painted with International Paint System. QA has been critical in the completion of this job. All time schedules have been met.

PNG Lihir Gold Project
The delivery to site for this project presented challenges as it had to be shipped to PNG. Whilst much of the steel was able to be loaded into open top containers, 190T was oversize and was transported as Break Bulk.
Scheduling the manufacturing and delivery to meet key hand over dates on site required factoring in a 6 week delivery time to the program. It was also critical to ensure that complete erectable packages were shipped.
Allblast Sandblasted and spray painted the entire project comprising 884 tonne of structural steel including;
- Floatation tank support steel
- Grinding Steelwork
- Secondary Crusher Steelwork
- Pipe Racks
- Compressor Building

Cowal Gold Project
The Cowal Gold Mine is located in West Wyalong, Allblast painted 586 tonnes of structural steel for the project including Floatation tank support steel, Regrind steelwork, Pebble crusher steelwork, crushing stations & stair towers. The project was awarded to APC on a Tonne Rate Basis. Allblast developed a reputation as delivering on time, with quality and conformance. Towards the end of the project we were requested to complete additional works previously awarded to other structural steel fabricators due to our quality and service..

Australian Grand Prix
After successfully winning the tender for the sandblast and paining of new Pit Lane Debris Panels for the 2001 Australian F1 Grand Prix, Allblast protective coating was awarded the contract to blast and paint approximately 200 new debris panels for the 2002 F1 Grand Prix.
In September 2002 the company was then successful in being awarded the contract to blast and paint new debris panels for the entire track for the 2003 F1 Grand Prix.
This amounted to a total of almost 2000 debris panels ranging from the standard track panel to the complex 8m panels for the television cameras.
The delivery of the panels was required to be completed within a very tight timeline. Allblast was able to meed the deadline within the timeframe.

Batemans Bay Shopping Complex
- This complex consists of 4,400 square meters of shops and services including Coles, Kmart and Aldi
- Allblast sandblasted and painted 750 tonne of steel over a 7 month period
- Allblast was a key player in the delivery of the project on time
- When the contract was awarded the project was only 10% designed, Allblast had to work closely to KVE and Engineer to ensure key tenancy hand over dates were achieved.
